Domino's First 50 Years
As part of its 2002-2003, 50th anniversary celebrations, Domino Theatre Inc. has produced a history of the group written by Patricia Beharriell and Ken Weston. The soft-covered book titled The Domino Affair is replete with stories and anecdotes and more than 100 black and white and colour pictures. Its approximately 280 pages document the theatre's unique place in the cultural development of Kingston.
The book has 15 chapters, including: A Dream, a Nightmare and an Angel (survey chapter), The Amateur's Apprenticeship, Theatre on the Go, Newsletters, Exploring Radio and Television, Posters and J. David Brown, Much Ado About Shakespeare, Drama Festivals, Bill Harding, The Music Hall, Japan, Serious Awards, the Dafts, and Christmas Parties, Let's Get Technical, Domino's Alumni and Domino Dots. It also lists all Domino's productions for the last 50 years including directors, producers and stage managers.
